CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral therapy is gentle technique that is based on the theory that your entire
body and all its systems are interrelated. It can provide relief for a variety of medically-
related issues, including: chronic neck and back pain; fibromyalgia; migraines; complex
regional pain syndrome; concussions and traumatic brain injuries; autism; central
nervous system disorders; multiple sclerosis; neuralgia; neurodegenerative diseases;
temporo-mandibular joint syndrome; learning disabilities; speech impairment;
Alzheimer’s disease and dementia; post-traumatic stress disorder; scoliosis; chronic
fatigue; and epilepsy.
Your body constantly suffers from stresses and strains that often cause body tissues to
tighten and distort the craniosacral system, which can also cause problems for the rest
of your body and its other systems. Fortunately, these issues can be detected and
corrected. Wendy can evaluate and repair your craniosacral system by gently touching
various parts of your body to test the rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around
your brain and spinal cord.
Craniosacral therapy is aimed at relieving tension in the central nervous system,
eliminating pain, enhancing health and strengthening immunity. The focus of this
therapy is to release your body’s connective tissue, or fascia, which covers your organs,
glands, nerves, muscles, blood vessels, brain and spinal cord. Wendy uses gentle
pressure techniques to determine where there are issues in your body and how she can
enhance self-correction and self-healing.
